Fear NOT!

I was watching the News not long ago and these words came out of the mouth of one of the commentators (can't think of her name); she said... "they are wanting a one world order". My ears perked up and the first thing that came to my mind is "WOW, we are seeing the end times unfold right before our eyes". This isn't the first time I have felt this while watching the news. Sometimes, not to sound strange, but I feel like I'm having an outer body experience like I'm living a scene of a movie. What is sad, is there are so many blinded to what is happening in our world and they don't realize just how lost they really are. And there are others that live in constant fear because of what is happening in the world or in their personal lives. But I know for myself, that we Christians have nothing to fear. The Word says in Isaiah 41:10 (ESV) Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. AND, in Joshua 1:9 (ESV) Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

As we abide in Him, He will guide us, direct us, prepare us, teach us, and show us ALL that we need to see, all that we need to do or say. Right!?! How do I know this? Because the Word tells us that He gives us a helper, His Holy Spirit, to dwell in us. His indwelling Spirit is what moves us, changes us, directs us and helps us. What is the key? To be able to listen, to be quiet enough, so you can hear Him above all else. We as Christian people should be praying for a keen ear to hear His voice above all others. We should be asking God what He wants us to do and to say rather than what we want. He knows what is best for us individually, us corporately and us as a nation. We are NOT to go by our own feelings but what is truly right by comparing “it” (whatever the “it” is) to what the Word says about it.

No matter what is happening around us, no matter who ends up getting elected President, NO MATTER WHAT... OUR GOD IS WITH US! Learn to be present in His presence!

I also know, that many don’t just fear about this in their own lives or about the condition of our country but they are also concerned for their children and their children’s children. And how about our kids we care about and love so much that aren't saved? Well, I'm going to trust What Acts 16:31 says... They said, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household." - (NASB) We have to trust our God that He will continue to tug on the hearts of our kids and this entire generation to get back to Him. For without Him, they can’t do anything. So what do we do? Continue to pray for them and stand on the above scripture to come to pass in your family’s life.

These scriptures are just a few that should give us so much comfort. We don't know for sure what is going to happen in our nation, we don’t know when or where the next attacks are going to be and we don’t know when Jesus is returning to rescue us, BUT, we do know that we, His children, have nothing to worry about for He has us in the palm of His hands and He has commanded us to FEAR NOT! We need to trust Him with our lives and this is why it is so important to stay connected, to become one with His spirit who lives in us. I also believe that we should be praying the 91st Psalm boldly over ourselves, our families and our nation. It's to long to write in this post but make sure you take the time to read it and confess it.

I pray each of us and all our brothers and sisters in Christ to keep our eyes, hearts and ears open to what the Lord is doing in, through and around our lives and the world we live in! Stay Strong and Fear Not!
